    Welcome to The Neighbourhood Barbershop Northampton — where community, craft, and connection come together to create a truly unique experience. Our skilled barbers deliver a wide range of top-quality grooming services and products, while recognising that everyone who walks through our doors has their own story and needs. We take pride in being an inclusive, welcoming space for all, not just individuals.

    At The Neighbourhood, we’re more than a barbershop. We run community campaigns, host events, and collaborate with local businesses and charities, as well as sharing voices through our very own podcast. Everything we do is about making a positive impact on the place we proudly call home — one cut, one conversation, one connection at a time.

    At The Neighbourhood, our barbers are more than just experts with clippers and scissors — they’re the heartbeat of the shop. Each member brings their own style, skill, and personality, creating an atmosphere that’s as genuine as it is welcoming. Whether it’s sharing a laugh, a story, or a fresh perspective, our team makes sure every visit feels like catching up with old friends. Together, we’re dedicated to delivering sharp cuts, real conversations, and an environment that celebrates everyone who walks through our doors.

Joey Welham

This is Joey, He's co-owner of The Neighbourhood.

Along with George and the rest of the team, he strives to create the best atmosphere inside the shop, offering the best service using his extensive 16 year's experience to provide you with the highest level of cut.

George Carroll

George Carroll

This is George, He's co-owner of The Neighbourhood. 

His 11 year's extensive knowledge of the barbering industry allows him to create any cut you want to the highest level, alongside this, is his second passion is being the creative mind behind the a lot of the content we share.

Along with Joey and the rest of The NBHD team, he brings the energy and skillset to make him one of the best.

Joe Carroll

Joe Carroll

This is Joe, George's younger but no less talented brother. 

He started his career when he was 16, working alongside his brother and has now become a Senior Barber & an integral part of The NBHD team. 

From cutting hair inside the shop to cutting hair on the beaches of Africa, this guy has a wide range of skills, enabling him to adapt and provide you with the best style that suits you. 

He spends most of time off in London, trying to grow his mobile cutting service.

Alex Volintiru

Alex Volintiru

This is Alex, he was the original recruit of The Neighbourhood team. 

Since joining us from the beginning, he has transformed himself into a Senior Barber & developed his cutting style into one of the best in the shop.

He is vital to everything that goes on inside the shop, willing to help out anyone that needs it, loves creating content and TikTok shop for his gadgets. 

The wide range of his skills and attention to detail is there for all to see and makes him able to provide you with the highest level of cut.

This is Josh AKA Keets.

He's been part of the team since we opened, re-igniting his passion for barbering for 2 years and has dedicated himself to offering the best haircuts ranging from classic to modern, ensuring each client leaves with a cut they love.

He's looking forward to you being part of his barbering journey. 

Kai Davies

Kai Davies

This is Kai, he's the newest member of The Neighbourhood Team.

He started his career 2 years ago in a walk in barbershop, so working under pressure and crazy pace of The NBHD is no issue, he has since strived to develop his skills working with us and his favourite cut to do is a burst fade.

We can't wait for you to see what this guy has to offer.

This is Josh AKA Little Josh.

He started his career with us working Saturdays, then joined us full time as our first full time apprentice, he has now worked his way up through the ranks and qualified his course early with his natural talent for barbering. 

Since qualifying, he is quickly learning his trade and developing his very own unique cutting style next to everyone else.

All no shows will be charged the full value of the appointment booked.

 

Please also respect our 12 hour cancellation policy, this ensures we have enough time to fill any cancelled appointments. Cancellations within this time will be charged 50% of the service booked. 

 

We reserve the right to reschedule your appointment and charge 50% of the service booked, if you do not book the correct appointment. we also reserve the right to charge you for the correct appointment that you should have booked. This is to ensure we can provide the best service for everyone.
